🌱 Grass Planting Process
1. Site Preparation
- Remove weeds, stones, and old grass
- Loosen the soil (about 10–15 cm deep)
- Level the ground
2. Soil Improvement
- Mix in compost or organic matter
- Add fertilizer if needed
- Ensure good drainage
3. Sowing (Seeding)
- Spread grass seeds evenly across the soil
- Use a spreader or by hand
- Lightly rake to cover seeds with a thin soil layer
4. Watering
- Water gently right after sowing
- Keep soil consistently moist (not flooded)
5. Germination & Growth
- Seeds start sprouting in 5–21 days (depends on grass type)
- Avoid heavy foot traffic
6. First Mowing
- Cut grass when it reaches about 7–10 cm tall
- Don’t cut more than one-third of the height
7. Maintenance
- Regular watering
- Fertilizing
- Weed control and occasional reseeding
